Welcome
The North Carolina Center for Engineering Technologies provides facilities for applied research in engineering related fields and serves as a conduit to baccalaureate education delivered by the University of North Carolina system schools.
Conceived as a community supported higher education effort in technical and engineering disciplines, this Center was established through a collaboration of business, government and higher education organized as the Future Forward Economic Alliance. The Center may collaborate with other schools in bringing the best programs to the region to meet the employment needs.

GOLDENLEAF Foundation Visits NCCET
Friday, July 10 - Mr. Dan Gerlach, President of the Golden LEAF Foundation visits the NCCET. Accompanied by Ms. Pat Cabe, VP of Programs/ Community Assistance & Outreach, Mr. Gerlach wanted to see the investment of the Golden Leaf Foundation for the equipment at the NCCET and was led on a tour through the Center by Dr. Sid Connor. Mr. Gerlach was impressed with the equipment and both he and Ms. Cabe spoke favorably of the project. Dr. Lorin Baumhover, Chief of Staff of Appalachian State University and Mr. Bill Parrish of the Appalachian State based Small Business Technology Development Center (SBTDC) were present for the visit
